Little Pax is a small guy with big personality. The birthdate listed on his papers states that he is around 2 years of age, however, I believe he may be younger given his very puppy-like mannerisms. I suspect that he is likely Malinois or Malinois mixed given his characteristics and temperament and would thus do best in a home that is experienced with highly active and intelligent working breeds. He would excel in an active home with an engaged adopter who is willing to work with him and may be a great option for someone looking for a companion in trick training or sports such as fast CAT, disc, agility, or dock-diving. Pax is fully crate trained and despite his active nature, does settle quite well in the house. He has not exhibited any signs of separation anxiety, but can, on occasion, be a bit vocal. He is fully house-trained and has done well with all resident dogs. It is unknown how he would do with cats or other animals. He is friendly with respectful children, but can be mouthy and overly-excitable. For this reason, older children are recommended.  He has not displayed any signs of resource guarding or dog reactive behavior.

If you think Pax may be a good fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application or contact your caseworker for further inquiry! Specific questions can also be directed to his foster at 2foster4love@gmail.com. We look forward to meeting with you soon :-)
