Meet Renee! Affectionately called "Ren" or "Rennie" here in her foster home.

Renee is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever had the privilege of fostering. She is very social and enjoys both human and dog interaction. The resident dogs all seem to love her. She is very much the "life of the party" and definitely enjoys the attention!

Overall, Renee has an extremely sweet temperament and very likable personality.  She is fully house-trained and crate trained. Renee can be somewhat vocal, but corrects easily and is very food motivated.  She has not displayed any signs of separation anxiety, leash reactivity, or resource guarding. She does well with respectful children but can, at times, be a little too "mouthy" and overly excitable. Further training to curb this behavior is encouraged.

Although Renee does have a notable limb deformity, it certainly does not impact her playful nature and outgoing personality. She remains quite active and keeps up with the other dogs extremely well. She remains unaware that she is any different in looks or capability. It is uncertain at this time if her deformity is a result of an osteochondrodysplasia or if she is mixed with a breed that is purposefully breed for the genetic expression of chondrodysplasic traits; such as the Bassett Hound or Corgi.

I believe Renee would make a great addition to most any family willing to invest their time in her.  I can also see her being a possible candidate for therapy dog training given her outgoing personality, sweet demeanor and inspiring nature.

If you think Renee may be a good fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application or reach out to your caseworker for further inquiry. Dog specific questions can also be directed to her foster at 2foster4love@gmail.com  We look forward to meeting you soon :-)
