Konnie is a 4 year old (best guess) German Shepherd Dog. She weighed 62lbs at her last vet appointment. If you’re looking for a dog with a true German Shepherd personality and intelligence, then Konnie is your girl! She is very smart and learns quickly but if not engaged, she becomes bored very quickly. She gets along with other dogs after a slow introduction. She has a pretty drive and is not cat friendly. She adores people but her energy and drive will be too much for little kids so older children only. Konnie is spayed and fully recovered from double ear infections that we think stems from allergies. She is on anti-itching medicine and a non-poultry diet which seems to work for her. Konnie was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She is heartworm positive and will be treated at SSR's expense. Konnie got to the Virginia area in October.
