Update: Zeus loves to play fetch with his ball and squeaky toy. He is getting better riding in the car, just a few whines. Does well meeting most dogs. He is such a lover. No cats please. Update: so tonight we introduce him to a big stuffed lamb. He started to play with it a little, then he put it in his dog bed and proceeded to lay on the floor beside his bed. He is so sweet, he let his new friend have the bed. We are just getting to know Zeus. He does well with children, unknown with cats and will be testing with other dogs, so stay tuned. We know that he is very loving and sweet, needs a little leash work, we are working on that. He does like to take walks. He is a little timid at first but then becomes a love bug. Not sure he ever had toys or treats as he was very unsure of liver treats, and bully sticks, but is now a major fan of both. He does not know how to play ball, but is such a smart dog, I am sure he will get the hang of it. He is very nervous with car rides, so we will continue to work with him on this. He has mild arthritis in his left shoulder, however, you would not know it. We took a walk by a creek and he did not hesitate to walk in the water. Zeus and sister Coco were living in a house that was being condemned with no electricity. Zeus was hanging out the 2nd floor window by the air conditioner barking when officers arrived. When Animal Control arrived there were originally 3 dogs (a female offspring). Animal Control had to leave to get the official paperwork and when they came back a few hours later the 2 year old female offspring was in a garbage bag and put in the outside trash can, it had passed away in that little time, cause unknown. The dogs were so covered in fleas that the blood ran off of the them when given a bath.
