Where are our lab lovers? Sweet Jewel is a lab mix and like most labs, she’s just as happy as she can be! She has special little white toes and a beautiful, shiny coat. Jewel gets along great with other dogs, and tested well with cats in TX. She is exuberant and food motivated, so she should be a breeze to train. She will need to be crated until she can be trusted loose in the house, luckily she's already crate-trained! She loves a good car ride! This sweet girl is good with everyone she meets: men, women, children, and other dogs! She is good with children, but may inadvertently knock over small children with her excitement. I took her into the pet shop, and there were tail wags and kisses for everyone! Jewel loved sniffing out the good treats. She is still getting used to some common commands, so a little puppy training would help her. Jewel accepts a leash but could use some heeling training, as most puppies do! Jewel was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She arrived to her Maryland foster on September 4th.
