Matlock was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas. He arrived to his foster in Virginia on August 7th, so check back soon for updates. Matlock made his journey to Va.and is doing great. So far we have learned that he is very loving and friendly. House trained, crate trained and up to date on all vaccines, he is also heart worm negative.This boy loves to play with all of our dogs 2 Shepherds and 1 Lab, not sure about kitties but he loves their food.We crate him while we are working only because he still likes to play puppy antics, shredding TP and getting into way too much stuff..Matlock would love a k9 friend but not a must, he will needs his people to play some ball or chase games. If you have a fenced yard it would have to be escape proof because he will find a way out, he sneaks out of my fence for cat food. We puppy proofed our yard and he's contained. This boy is about as close as you can get to being the perfect best friend, we will get out and meet some children this week. So far he is good with everyone. No problem with his bath or checking ears or teeth, his nails are in great shape and will not give me a hard time for touching his paws.I think he would be fine in townhouse, he has not tried the stairs yet.He also loves water, mostly the sprinkler he will sit under it for ever!!
