Update 1 August 2021: Ms. Tilly just wants to spend all of her time with her hoomans, and maybe bonus points for hoomans with doggo friends! This girl loves everyone and did especially well with all of the sweet kids who wanted to love on her at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds this weekend. She joined SSR from North Carolina and, luckily for the great SSR followers that helped move her to Northern Virginia, Tilly is amazing in the car – not a peep from this girl; she goes right to sleep. Tilly would love to join you on errands and she will happily sleep in your air conditioned car while you run in to grab a few things. She is great with large and small dogs and she always wants to PLAY, though she also recognizes when someone isn’t quite her speed. She enjoys her walks in the evening and is much better walking on leash after just a week with SSR. Tilly visited the dogtor this week to determine the cause of her (admittedly really cute) head tilt and some blood in her urine. She is currently being treated for a staff infection in her ear and the dogtor discovered a fairly large bladder stone that will be surgically removed. You would never know either of these things are an issue for her because Tilly is as sweet and happy as can be! So happy, in fact, that we also have her tail wrapped up to help heal her happy tail.
