UPDATE: It's been a month since a have Brimstone and Fire with me and what an amazing pair of dogs. They love everything about life, they do not need the crate during night time, they love the couch or to be closer to me in the bedroom. During the day if we are not home they are crated but They Go Inside with No Problem, they know that fomom and fobrothers will give both of them a treat ;) Its the little steps like this one that makes us Happy. Brimstone and Fire are perfect.They are ready for there Forever Family. Brimstone and Fire prior to living with my family, came from an adopter/family that really didn’t have the patience for both of them, specially for Fire. But now things are different they love every single person that they meet, they are a good pair of dogs that need the special loving family, that all of us know it’s out there somewhere. Brimstone is all love and affection the kind of love that is pure and sincere, like looking at a babies eyes. She’s friendly, she loves to cuddle, she loves her people.
Walking on the leash, she will pull a little bit, she needs help, she needs somebody that can handle two dogs at the same time and that as experienced and knows what to do when passing other strange dogs. Because she and Fire are both so low energy, they don’t need long walks or hiking or running, they just need a small backyard to go outside and play a little bit and come back inside. This is what they really, really love a lot: a comfortable bed and being close to their people. She’s all love. She in not a fan of the crate, but I don’t think she needs that. During the day she stays out and she sleeps. At night she stays inside, she needs a good treat to go inside, but after she stays quiet all night. She doesn’t ask for food while we are on the table, she lays down behind one person’s chair she doesn’t jump on the counter. Both Brimstone and Fire don’t know how to play with toys. They have a few around the house but they ignore toys completely. The same way they don’t care for toys they don’t care about messing with pieces of the house like shoes, clothes, or socks. They are so good inside. This two amazing dogs they deserve a loving family with a little bit of owner experience, especially if they want the dogs outside of the property to socialize with other dogs. For a family that doesn’t want this “going going all the time”, they just need to show them love and patience (specially for Fire).
Personality Description: Overall very sweet, good-natured, people-oriented Temperament with Other Dogs: Barks at other dogs on walks; untested in close quarters Temperament with Cats: Actively chases cats on sight; unsure what happens beyond that Temperament with Strangers: VERY friendly; no signs of aggression; some overexcitement (e.g. jumping) Temperament with Children: Same as above, Loves Kids, She gives Kisses all the time.
