Polly is a typical shepherd puppy who loves her pack. She is housebroken, crate trained, and great on leash. She is an instant snoozer in the car and great on long car rides. Polly is learning her manners and thriving with direction and praise. She loves her fo-sister and will play with her for hours (if she will let her). Polly knows sit, lay down, drop it, leave it, crate, and to wait patiently for her food until you "break" her. Polly LOVES the hose and sprinklers and will entertain you for hours with her antics. With the help of her fo-sister, Polly is learning to swim and not be so scared of the waves! Polly was surrendered by her owner due to her heart condition. She went to a cardiologist on 6/21 for evaluation and underwent surgery on 7/1 to fix her patent ductus arteriosus. Polly has a few other mild heart conditions, but the cardiologist and surgeon are not recommending medications or restriction of activity. Once healed from her surgery, Polly is expected to live a mostly normal and happy life with annual visits to the cardiologist!
