Winnie was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas and is now with a foster in Virginia. She is a gentle, sweet dog looking for a quiet home. She is fine with other dogs (big and little!), and is also good with the resident, dog-savvy cat.

She remains timid/cautious of anything new. Winnie is going to need a calm, quiet place WITHOUT children to settle in and learn to trust humans. 

other needs: a home without more than a few steps she’d have to navigate (scared of them)  

She was also HW+, but has completed slow-kill treatment. 
Also- Winnie has left sided hip dysplasia. She still gets around fairly well, but will occasionally limp on that leg when it is bothering her
