Mario is such a sweet and friendly guy! We don't know much about his background but have learned:
1. He is an expert napper and will sleep (and snore) away most of the day after some morning exercise. Couch, crate, floor, your lap, he can sleep anywhere. 2. He loves to spot squirrels, bunnies, cats, and anything else small and furry, but has come a long way with the "leave it" command and gets back on track relatively easily. 3. He's house trained, crate trained, and does well on a leash. He is also a good running partner and settles right into your pace. 4. He is a quick learner - in under a week he mastered "sit," "wait," "in your crate," and ringing the bells on the door when he needs to go outside. 5. He's great with dogs and people. Mario has never met a dog or a human he doesn't like, and plays nicely at the dog park and on a leash.
Mario is an affectionate and gentle soul and easily corrected - he just wants to make his people happy!
Mario was rescued from a partner rescue in Texas.
