Coco is the sweetest, most gentle girl ever! She was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas and arrived at her foster home on May 29th. Coco is mixey and on the smaller size, weighing in at only 30 lbs. But what she lacks in pedigree, she definitely makes up in personality! Coco is smart, eager to please, and a breeze to train. She knows how to sit, stay and lie down on command, and is just waiting for her forever family to teach her more. Foster mom reports that she is both crate trained and potty trained. She does pull on walks (she is very strong for such a little girl) but is doing great learning how to heel on a prong collar. Coco is not a big fan of going potty on walks, so would prefer a home with a yard where she can do her business at home and not out in public. Coco gets along great with other dogs and is being foster with Fay. Coco is laid back and tolerant around other dogs, and even lets Fay "borough" her food and toys without the slightest complaint. She isn't a big fan of the squirrels, but is easily redirected. Surprisingly, she is not all that interested in the Cicadas. She has not been cat tested yet, but would most likely be okay with dog-savvy cats. Coco will bark to alert (she takes her job seriously) but is generally not very vocal. If you are ready for endless kisses and belly rubs, then Coco is the girl for you!
