Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog.
Molly Rose was a local owner surrender and is currently with a foster in Richmond. Until recently she was primarily kept inside with little socialization. Now with her foster, Molly loves to play with the resident dog and is learning how to handle herself in new situations. She can have a big bark when meeting new people and dogs, but that’s mainly due to her pure excitement and lack of socialization. She receives training daily and is quickly catching on. She currently requires a slow approach when meeting new dogs, but once she warms up she is ready to play and even will share her treats, toys, and sticks! She currently knows sit, down, wait, stay, quiet, out, back, off, inside, outside, and kennel. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and bathes well. She is easy to handle on walks and is quick to follow commands. Molly is an affectionate girl with lots of love to give. She regularly gives her resident dog sibling kisses and loves belly rubs from her foster mom. Molly would do well as an only dog or with a resident dog able to show her the ropes. Molly is truly a sweet girl ready to explore the world with her forever home.
