Kristine was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She is heartworm positive, which will be treated at SSR's expense. She is missing a foot but that does not stop her from running, playing, climbing stairs or anything. It is unknown at this time if the leg would be an ideal candidate for a prosthetic, but we are hopeful this will be the case. She is currently being fostered in Northern VA (Loudoun County). She adapted very well to her new environment. She quickly was loving and interacting with her foster family. She has very good manners and is housebroken. Kristine is a gentle sweet dog looking to be a great companion for some lucky family.
