6.20.21 Pepe got neutered on 6/18 and is back home with his foster family in Winchester, VA. He has learned to SIT, & WAIT, loves to go outside, is protective but warms up to new people quickly when introduced. He is HW+ and will need treatment when adopted. Once he’s clear, he will absolutely love to run around and play with his adopter. He is house trained Pepe has short, silky fur. 

6.13.21 - Pepe has an appointment to be neutered on 6/18.  He is improving with his manners in the car, showing restrain from barking at motorcycles.  We are working towards learning basic commands such a s SIT, LAY DOWN, going in his crate on command, etc.  Pepe has a strong snout and loves to follow the scent of animals in our backyard.  He started pulling on the leash so we are now working to improve that.  He has excellent hearing and he's very alert and will make a good watch dog. Pepe eats well, takes his medicine and supplements well, and is food motivated. He loves pats on the head, belly rubs, and snuggles.

5.29.21 - Pepe arrived to the Virginia area on May 29th. He is doing much better and is settling in at his foster home. He knows his name, can walk on hard wood floors, does good with stairs, wants to chase rabbits, and likes car rides. He doesn’t jump on people, occasionally put his paws up on the kitchen counter but he listens when we tell him down. He does well inside and outside, hasn’t been tested with kids under age 10 tested. Does well with ages 10+, all genders and dogs. Cats are a no. Pepe is very quiet and sweet. Check back for updates in the coming days.

Pepewas brought to the vet from a Texas shelter after he was extremely emaciated.
