Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog.
Claremont came to us as a timid feral or very shy foster. The first few days she didn't want to be touched, she didn't want to eat in front of us, she didn't want to leave her crate, and she wouldn't walk on a leash. But guess what! A few weeks later she is a TOTALLY different dog. She seeks human affection. She's very sweet, silly, and playful. She can be very energetic at times, but she also likes to snuggle. She still prefers to play inside versus outside but she gets braver every day and regularly take three mile pack walks with her. Claremont would love to be in a patient family with respectful but playful children and/or with friendly sibling dog. She goes in the crate when you open in / comes out when you open it. Walks obediently on a leash. Claremont is C-A-T tested and approved! When you come to meet her, forget about her past because SHE SURE HAS!
