Amari was found as a stray with Maia. We believed Maia to be her mother, but now believe they just adopted each other. When she was found, she had a strange facial deformity that was discovered to be a large extra ligament pulling on her head. Once removed, Amari's face has returned to a normal look for a GSD. She arrived to her Virginia foster on April 30th. Amari 1934's companion, Maia 1935 (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
