Kaia was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She arrived to her Virginia foster on April 17th. Check back soon for updates. Kaia has arrived! She is resting and fitting in with our pack, 1 Lab 2 BIG Shepherds. Kaia is very sweet and gentle, she loves giving doggie kisses and loves belly rubs. So far she has been a perfect guest in our home, no chewing on anything or getting onto trash.She slept in bed last night, no bed hogging or moving around. We will start her crate training today, I know she has some issues with the crate. She will get all the time she needs for anxiety. Kaia is eating and drinking as normal, still not sure if she's all the way house broken but I'll work with her on that as well.WE have not child tested yet or cat. No fence jumping or attempts, so far. she loves to play BALL! We have been sniffing around the yard all morning, she is still very much a puppy. Check her updates on our community Facebook page.
