Gypsy is a helper! Whether it is dishes, vacuuming, or making dinner, this girl loves to be right there supervising away. (She did try helping put down a new rug. It did not go so well, but don’t tell her that!) Gypsy loves to be with her people and will happily shadow right behind as you move about your daily life. This sweet beauty is 10 years old, but that doesn’t stop her. She loves to go with Foster Mom on walks, helps run errands in the car, and is happy just to lounge with you on a rainy day. Her one sworn enemy is squeaker toys and she holds records for quickly destroying them in two minutes flat. Nothing is going to defeat her! Gypsy does have a prey drive, so cats and chickens aren't a great mix. We have found that with slow introductions Gypsy has figured out that dogs are pretty cool and thinks they are the best play buddies! She has done beautifully with big humans and medium humans, but we have not yet tried her with little, little ones. Gypsy knows Sit and Gentle for commands and does beautifully in her crate. As always, we recommend obedience training for all our dogs to help ensure the best possible adoption outcome. Gypsy has done well at bath time and got rave reviews from the groomers! What would be the perfect home for Gypsy? She would really thrive in a home with her people around to lead her and build up her confidence. Gypsy is fine when left alone, but her people bring her the greatest joy. She can also be hit or miss on steps. At her age, she has earned the right to pass on a few things! Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweet senior girl? Gypsy is a wonderful dog and will bring many smiles and doggie kisses your way! She is being fostered in Verona, PA and looks forward to hearing from you! Gypsy is heartworm positive and SSR will pay for the cost of treatment. Nuts and Bolts: 10 year old female, soon to be spayed, 81lbs, good with dogs, not recommended for cats or chickens, great with older kids.
