Please welcome Augusta to SSR, she arrived yesterday. So far we have had a bath, no problems and a little to eat. She met one of our dogs and no problems with him, she will meet the big boys soon. Augusta was cat tested and no issues , we have not met any children yet. She has not tried to escape from the fence or dig out, and she's very curious about country life. Augusta rode nice in the car, no sickness or jumping around. So far she's just a beautiful German Shepherd and still loves humans after her life in Texas. I don't think she's been harmed by anyone, she's just a little confused about all the travel. Augusta has tested positive for heartworms, she will be treated for this by SSR. She arrived to the Virginia area on March 27th. Augusta was cat tested while in Texas (see video) and was fearful of the cat.
