Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog.
Quandra was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas along with her puppies, Quebec, Quetzal, and Querida. Quandra arrived to her Virginia foster on March 27th. Since then, she is settling in well- she loves being with people, does not love being crated or being left alone (working on this, and she is able to settle in her crate). She has been good with the resident dogs (small and large), but unfortunately, despite her initial cat test, her reactions to the resident cat have been concerning, so no cats! She is also housetrained. She has shown some resource guarding with her food so do not recommend small children, and older children only if they are very responsible. She is also Heartworm positive (but the rescue will cover the cost!).
