Update 2/22/21: Cash is now with his foster family in VA. He is such a sweet older boy. He loved his warm bath and blow-dry last night and was spoiled with treats and lots of belly rubs. Cash can probably stand to lay off on the treats a bit, though we just love - and cannot deny - his super smiley personality! He is non-reactive to small and large dogs at a short distance and we will do proper slow introductions soon. Cash slept quietly in his crate overnight and so far is happily spending his time snoozing the day away. SSR rescued Cash after he was dumped by his previous family and others took him in to help him find a good home. As expected for an experienced gentleman of his age, Cash does appear to have some arthritis and perhaps a hip issue. He is reported to be deaf; if true, he adapts extremely well! More to come.
