You can never go wrong with a Lab. While we primarily focus on shepherds, some dogs just pull our heart strings too much to say no. Enter Luna! This sweet 10 month old girl may not be a shepherd, but she seriously has some great shepherd traits going on. Luna does great with big kids and has not show any issues with other dogs. She has not been cat tested. Little kids may be ok, but Luna has a shy side, and too much crazy will quickly send her running to foster mom’s side. Luna would thrive best in a quieter household with a cool human to hang around with. She loves her people and has mastered the “Velcro Shepherd Personality”. (Told you she was a perfect mock shepherd!) Luna loves car rides and even thinks baths aren’t bad. (This is where the water-loving-lab side comes in handy) She is on the lower side of medium energy, so some playtime, walks, meandering in the back yard, or any of the above would tide her over nicely. She would also be happy to accompany you on errands, a day at the lake, or some family hiking. She is up for pretty much anything she can do with the humans. Luna is crate trained and sleeps in one peacefully all night. She also knows sit and will give you her paw when wanting some attention. Like all our rescue dogs, we always recommend training to bring out their best. Luna is a great all-around girl.
