Bentley will steal your heart and run with it! Well, more like snuggle it on the couch. He is suuuuuuuper sweet and the BIGGEST snuggle bug. Bentley is roughly 4 years old and neutered. He rides fantastic in the car but he doesn't necessarily *enjoy* car rides. We are not sure how he does with male dogs but he is about as mellow and playful as you get when it comes to both the very rambunctious female and the very dominant female in the foster home. He is a total doll baby with the kids as well. He knows no stranger but because of the weather, he hasn't been on a real walk to see how he does on the leash. His meeting with a cat went well. He initially sniffed and then basically acted as if the cat didn't exist. Bentley has an angular limb deformity. The Vet believes he suffered some kind of fracture in one of his front leg bones when he was very young and one bone stopped growing, while the other continued to grow as normal. This has resulted in a major bend in the lower part of his right front leg. He still walks on this leg and it does not currently seem to cause him any pain. He zooms around the yard and plays with the other dogs but he does tire out fairly quickly, so a super active family is not recommended. He is not your, hike and explore kinda guy. More like, let's wrestle and then fall asleep right here, for the rest of the day, kinda guy. He is also terrified of hardwood floors. The bend in his leg causes some very uneasiness on hardwood for him. He navigates the carpeted stairs very well, but non carpeted stairs are a no go for this boy. Since his leg does not appear to cause him any pain, Bentley will not be put through surgery to correct it. Not to say though, that he won't ever need it further down the road. Bentley is a wonderful boy and will be a great addition. He has a little separation anxiety so he would prefer if someone were home more than they are gone. The adopter that ends up with this guy is in for a lifetime of LOVE!
