Dirk is a 7 year old owner surrender who was rescued from a shelter in Texas. He is the perfect dog and make no mistake, he is living his best life and still has many years and lots of energy left in him. He loves kids, people (especially ladies), is crate trained, house trained, leash trained, has no fears of stairs, and is healthy! Most importantly, he doesn’t bark excessively! He wants to play fetch for as long as you throw the ball or stick, but he will lay down next to you if you work from home or sit on the couch. He prefers being with his his human at all times and will protect you from the monsters that lurk in the bathroom. He is being fostered with dogs of similar size and gets along with non-alpha dogs, warming up to them within a week. He should be coming to the Virginia area in February.
