Gumdrop would like whoever is snoring to please stop. She’s trying to sleep and its waking her up. Shhh! ! Don’t tell her it’s her. No one told this girl about a decompression period. She’s made herself right at home with her new foster!

Gumdrop is a 3 year old heartworm negative female. She is one of the happiest dogs her foster Mom has met in a long time, despite obvious signs of past abuse. She loves meeting new people of all sizes and is very gentle with kids. She is housebroken and crate trained, walks on a leash like a champ and rides in the car like a proper lady! She is looking for a nice warm home full of love and belly rubs. She loves cuddling and taking couch naps. She is lower energy and greatly enjoys laying next to someone. 

Gumdrop has visible hip dysplasia of the right hip and will undergo surgical correction in the next few weeks. She does have great range of motion and mobility spite  how bad her hip looks.  She enjoys running in the yard, does stairs well, jumps up on the sofa just fine. But she is definitely in pain. When you touch that hip she turns into it and bumps your hand away. Even the lightest touch makes her wince. She’s been started on some medications for pain and we anticipate a successful surgery.
