Aria has had a few days to decompress since arriving from Texas on 1/9/21. She warmed up to me and my kids (7 & 9) quickly. Aria has done very well interacting with the older GSD alpha and annoying 20lb. puppy in the house. She loves to wrestle and play with the puppy but is gentle enough not to harm her. Aria had no clue how to tackle stairs when she arrived but has mastered it like a pro. Now that Aria has figured out how to get on the couch, we are working on the concept of personal space! She is definitely a velcro dog and loves to be with her people. She will be all up in your business if you let her, but she also corrects very easily. As Aria has been adjusting to her foster home, it has become apparent that she could use help with basic training. We have had a few accidents but she is still decompressing. She is VERY eager to please, and is taking notes on my alpha dog's behavior (i.e. sitting for treats). Aria would probably do well in a home with another dog to help her with her confidence. She has not been cat tested yet. She can sometimes be mouthy when she is seeking cuddles and has improved drastically in just a few days, but for this reason I would suggest children 8+.
