Are you looking for a co-pilot for adventure? Heidi's your gal. This intelligent and obedient pup is about 2 years old and LOVES to play and work with her human. Tug? Check. Fetch? Check. Tricks? Sure thing. She's treat-motivated, toy-motivated, and well, you-motivated. She is a confident dog when it comes to loud noises and new things and very little is scary to her - but exciting? Well, EVERYTHING can be pretty exciting! She loves exploring and meeting new people! Heidi is super trainable and wicked smart. She's crate trained, house trained, sits and waits to be released to go outside, and even knows a few tricks! Her recall is great and she corrects quickly when she decides she wants to get into mischief. She is looking for a someone who will love training with her as much as she does because she's great at it. Did I mention she talks? She's got a happy growl that lets you know she's excited and ready to play. Heidi is submissive with dogs and loves to play with them. She's a vocal player and can be a bit grumbly when she first meets them, but settles down quickly. Her relationship with cats is...more complicated. She listens well and avoids for the most part, but definitely will chase a cat if it runs. She's had trouble in the past learning when to relax, and needs an owner that can be firm with her when she gets too worked up, but is doing amazing in her foster home and takes naps during the day while her foster human works and plays hard in the evening.
