Who is ready for doggie kisses? Meet Linx! Linx is a beautiful boy that is about 1.5 years old. Linx hails form the great state of Texas and spent some time on his own. However this guy didn’t even let that phase him. He is full of snuggles, kisses, and ready to give so much love to the right family. He is well on his way to becoming a true velcro shepherd! Linx is currently fostered with 2 dogs, 2 kids, and a cat. He loves playing with his new dog friends and thinks kids are so much fun! He is not sure what to make of this new cat thing, so he is still a bit on the fence there. He doesn’t seem to want to hurt the cat but is certainly all about the smells and hovering over whenever she is near. Linx is what we would call a middle-of-the-road guy. He has good energy, but certainly understands the importance of a good nap. He spends his days playing in the yard with his dog friends, chewing on his bones (and occasional something he shouldn’t!), getting in a little doggy siesta, and then starts the cycle all over again. He does not quite understand that he is 55 pounds, so sometimes those naps may be in your lap! Linx is currently working on his manners, and like all our dogs, would greatly benefit from training. His foster has been working on some basic commands and gentling his leash manners. Linx does great in the car and doesn’t protest at bath time. Linx can be crated, but it is not his favorite place. He doesn’t try to escape or damage the crate but will bark. Linx would do best in a home where he has other dogs, kids, or adult humans to play with. He is still young and loves the reassurance of having others around. He can be left alone while crated, but not for long periods of time. Linx would love to have a family where he can pal around with someone as much as possible, hop in the car for some errands, watch over the small humans, and just have a good time. Followed by a nap, of course! Linx is currently fostered in Front Royal VA and can’t wait to meet you!
