Paris is a very sweet, generally low-key gal looking for her family with a similar lifestyle. She is content simply being near you and she is often found lying quietly on something comfy while foster mom is doing laundry, showering, etc. Paris definitely has a fun side and she enjoys playing fetch with or without you - she makes up her own fun with her toys! When she gets going around a backyard playing with other dogs, look out because she is FAST. You might notice after a bit of play that Paris favors her left leg; we've found that Paris does have hip dysplasia on her left side. Surgery is not recommended at this time because she is young and gets around very well. Given especially her calm nature as well as her soreness at times, Paris would do best in a home with GSD-savvy children at least 10+. She is currently living with other dogs and would be fine with or without a future dog pal - as with all of our dogs, slow introductions to resident dogs is key. Paris is crate trained and extremely well-behaved in her crate during the day and at night. She is also an amazing co-pilot in the car - you'll probably just forget she's in your backseat! Paris is heartworm positive (HW+) and is ready to begin her required treatments in late January; this expense will be covered by SSR.
