Ruby was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She is currently being treated for mange. She arrived to her Virginia foster on December 19th. Ruby is doing AMAZING since her move to Virginia. Most all of her beautiful coat is growing back, I hope her coat will be full and bushy by spring. She's eating and drinking very good, she gets a daily supplement which I'm sure is the reason her fur is growing so nice. We are introducing her slowly to our pack, 2 Shepherd s and 1 Lab. She is good friends with our Lab , she s very interested in our Shepherds but they are a lot bigger and stronger. This girl is getting her strength back, she's still a little wobbly in her hind legs. She has very little muscle so we're watching over her to make sure she's safe. She likes men and women, we have not met any children yet. She loves to play ball in the yard and sleep in her new bed, most likely her 1st one. Ruby I s ok in the car no sickness , still a little unsure of where she's going so I'll work on making car rides a good thing. Her !st Vet. visit was good she loved everyone and they adored her, we will have her results soon so rescue can get her started on her heartworm treatments.
