Who is looking for a cuddy bear? Meet Coffee! No, he isn’t a shepherd, but he is so amazing we are going to overlook that. Coffee is a 3 year old purebred Siberian Husky who love the outside and would love to accompany you on walks, runs, and all your family adventures! Coffee likes to spend his days hanging out with his people. He takes morning walks with foster mom and loves running with the kids in the backyard. Afternoon walks, or evening outside playtime would suit him beautifully. Coffee would do well with a tall, fenced yard since he has occasionally wandered off. He will jump a 4’ fence, so a 6’ or taller would be best. He doesn’t tend to wander when hanging out with the humans or other dogs, but quick potty breaks alone may turn into a neighborhood stroll. Coffee loves his other foster doggie friends and has not shown any issues when meeting them. He can’t decide if the small humans or other doggies are best, so he just loves them both! After running or walking off his morning energy, you will typically find Coffee watching TV with the kiddos or monitoring foster mom while she works from home. (This is one busy guy!) Coffee hasn’t spent much time alone since his foster family is home due to the pandemic, but when they leave for errands, he will fuss for about 5 minutes and then settle in for a nap. On Coffee’s list of “musts” – Car rides, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumbers, and pumpkin. He is always takes his treats very gently, like the true gentleman he is. Coffee also loves his walks and will jump in the air as soon as he sees the leash. While he does not think baths are great, he will peacefully resign himself to his fate and stand patiently. Coffee is crate trained and knows a little basic obedience, but like all our rescues, we highly encourage obedience classes to bring out the best in these dogs. He is completely potty trained. The nuts and bolts on Coffee: neutered, loves dogs and kids, unknown on cats or other animals, crate trained, long coat, 51lbs, friendly to all people, has some training, playful, affectionate.
