Ghost is an absolute stunner and the most beautiful personality to go along. Found as a stray in FL, she suffered a bad cut/infection on her rear right leg, which resulted in amputation. Ghost doesn't let the lack of a leg stop her and still likes to zoom around the yard. She has even mastered the stairs! She still loses balance occasionally, because she forgets she doesn't have that added stability, but she has adjusted wonderfully. Ghost is roughly 18months old, so she still has a lot of those puppy tendencies. She is GREAT with kids but she is still super mouthy when playing. She has been fantastic with our resident dog and other foster dog. She loooves to play with doggie friends, but she is a bit of a rough player and does not necessarily need a home with another dog. She has encountered stray cats and was said to be found with a kitty friend, but when tested with cats in a home, she barked and was a little overly fixated. We believe that she could come to be fine with cats as long as she goes to an experienced adopter that is willing to work with her on redirect. She had some pretty serious separation/crate anxiety in the beginning, but has come a long way. She has now learned that no one is abandoning her in there. She would prefer to have someone that is not gone all day long, or someone who can let her out mid way through her day. She is an absolute love bug. Her favorite thing to do is bask in the sunshine and roll in the grass More about Ghost 1612Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Somewhat vocal, Does Good in the Car, Does not require a yard, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Affectionate, Goofy If you are an approved adopter and are interested in this dog, please let your case worker know.
