Graham is a happy, go-lucky puppy who loves both people and dogs. One of Graham's favorite things to do is rough house with the three resident German Shepherds at his foster home. He may be little, but that doesn't stop him from being right in the middle with them. His second favorite thing to do is sleep. Graham is quite happy being able to nap away the day. He loves chewies and toys, especially balls. Graham is a quiet dog and is not a barker. He is working on his strength and should soon have almost "normal" mobility. He was born with "straight legged" puppy syndrome, which just means his back legs don't bend the way normal dog's legs do. While he will never be able to run a marathon or go on long hikes, this doesn't mean he can't live a perfectly normal life and should not require any special care. Graham most likely will not be able to navigate a full set of stairs. A few steps may be fine, but unless you're willing to carry a potentially 80 lb dog up the stairs, a single story home would be best. For a puppy this young, he is doing amazing with house training. Graham spends the day with his foster dad at his office and rarely has an accident. He will even bark at you if he needs to go poo. He was cat tested and passed with flying colors!
Graham was surrendered to the shelter by their breeder along with his brother, Grant, because they are "straight legged" puppies. Graham arrived to his Virginia foster on October 24th.
