Caesar is a King Shepherd and although their weight is expected to hit 130-150 lbs, Caesar tips the scales at 170! He has a good amount of weight to loose and his foster is working on this. King Shepherds are not an officially recognized breed of Shepherd by the AKC. They are typically a cross of a GSD and the Shiloh Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, Alaskan Malamute, or Akita. He was a local owner surrender and just arrived in his foster home on August 29th, so check back soon for updates.
