Hailey Comet, or Hailey as she goes by, is a sweetheart who loves everyone she meets, and she likes to meet everyone and every dog she sees. She gives lots of kisses and likes to cuddle on the couch with you. She is still working on her basic commands and her leash training but she is a smart girl who I believe will learn quickly with the right person. She does like to run, hence the Comet in her name, so either a fenced in yard with room to run or an adoptee who loves to go on daily runs is needed. She seems great with children but understand that when she is excited and hasn’t had time to run off her energy yet she may jump up or push around a bit. Found as a stray with Gabi in Texas, Hailey is half of a bonded pair. They are never far from each other, and when separated, will go looking for their other half. In a way Hailey acts as a mom to Gabi. We don’t know if they are mom and daughter but they seem to behave in that way. if you think you can give these girls a good home and the love and care they deserve please Have your caseworker reach out to me Hailey is marked as good with cats but please note she is very interested in them and would require supervision around them until fully trained. She just doesn’t understand them completely yet.
