Meg was rescued when a breeder brought her in to her vet to be euthanized. Meg has a condition called Mega-E or Megaesophagus. It is believed that Meg's condition can be corrected with surgery and she could live a normal life. Until then, she has to have meals and water in an elevated state (the photo shows her in a Bailey Chair) and feeding takes a little longer because they have to remain in this upright position for about 30 minutes after they eat. She will be coming to her foster in Virginia in October.
