Meet Mr. Moose! his name is SO fitting! He is a big, goofy boy who is going to need a strong leader. He is not a fan of his crate and he will be sure to let you know by singing you the song of his people. He will however, settle down and sleep through the night in it. He is a super playful young man who is still learning house rules and what this whole leash/walk thing is. He is slowly catching on to those things as well as his sit, kennel, and wait commands. Moose is a smart pup (not surprisingly, since he is a Mal) who is going to make the perfect dog for a good active family that is willing to put the time into his training. He is not a fan of the female resident Shepherd, so right now we think he will do best as an only dog. He has a high prey drive and was much too excited when cat tested. Kids however, he is totally cool with! He knows they like to spoil him with treats and messy faces that need a good cleaning. Just know, he has a lot of puppy energy and could knock down little ones easily. Moose was rescued from a rescue partner in Texas. He arrived to his Virginia foster on July 25th.
