Update 07/23: Jasper is Walking! He is feeling much better and may need an FHO surgery in his future (SSR funded), but otherwise On the mend!
07/21: Jasper was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas. He can't presently walk and it was initially thought he had been hit by a car. However, once he was taken to a vet, it was evident he was covered in flea and ticks making him severely anemic. X-rays have been taken with no apparent breaks, so it may be a tick borne disease causing his issues. A confirming diagnosis has yet to be established, but he is presently receiving care to include blood transfusions and the hope is he will recover. Once he recovers, he will make his way to the Virginia area, hopefully in September.
