Hi I am Buttercup I am a very sweet and intelligent baby girl. I love to play with toys (especially hard bones), but will not play with them in the kennel. I am potty trained and will bark if I am in the kennel to go out. I love to dig in water and play in baby pools. I am not scared of storms and will go out in them. I also love to be brushed. I am a cuddle bug with my humans and love to sleep with my human kids. I will lay with them on the couch and snuggle. I do get along with other dogs, but it might take me some time to adjust. I have only been around my brother, so getting to know others will take time. I may bark at them, but once I get to know them I will stop. I am more of a kinda lay backed dog and would prefer not to have a hyper dog jumping on me. I will let you know if someone is at your door. My favorite snack or treat is boiled chicken. I have been eating 3 cups of Victor Select Beef Meal a day. I do not eat it all in one sitting. My foster mom think I must have been dragged by my collar because I drop to the ground when you grab my collar. I am getting better at not doing this. I may not be do well with the collar, but I am doing very well with a harness. I do know simple commands like down, sit, and no. If you say TAT-TAT I know to stop what I am doing. I do amazing in the car, but I am scared to get in and out . I will drop down to the ground. I have never been away from my brother. I may have high anxiety and will need time to adjust without him and a new home. My foster mom tells me all the time I am such a good girl and will make someone very happy.
Buttercup was rescued from a partner rescue in Texas. Just like her namesake, Princess Buttercup, expects to be treated like royalty. Buttercup arrived to her Pennsylvania foster on August 9th.
