Update 07-27: Hazel is a very energetic little girl, loves to play with her foster brothers and chew on toys. Hazel is a very fast girl and has a great jump (make sure that fence is a tall one!). She isn’t real big on walking, but does more of a prance hop to get from one place to another. Hazel is very sweet, eats good, loves belly rubs, and will sit for you to put her leash on. Otherwise she needs some improvement on her manners, but she is smart and willing to learn. Hazel was surrendered by her owner in Texas after she escaped her yard and got hit by a car. The owner was unable to provide immediate medical care and surrendered her to receive treatment. She has a fractured scapula that will not require surgery. She arrived to her Virginia foster on July 25th.
