Glory arrived to her foster in Virginia on May 16th. So far, her foster has said she is a little shy, but is friendly with people, even strangers. She is very much a people person and while she gets along with other dogs, might prefer to be the only princess in her castle. Glory is also quiet, doesn't get herself in trouble by getting into things, and doesn't get on the furniture. She sleeps well in her crate and has had no accidents in the house.
Glory was found wandering in a circle in the middle of an intersection in Texas. A concerned citizen kept her from being hurt in traffic. A local gas station attendant said someone left her there. Neighbors said she did not live anywhere around there. Despite many efforts to locate an owner, no one stepped forward. Her Texas foster said she is good with large dogs, small dogs and kids. Crate and house trained. She likes being with people. We don't know about cats. She does not travel well in the car, likely a fear response from being thrown out of one. She is Heartworm positive and has begun treatment with Doxy. She will continue her HW treatment, which will be paid for by SSR.
