Max is a Virginia dog surrendered to SSR. He just joined his foster in Virginia on May 5th. So far we know:
Max is about 1.5-2 yrs old, 75 lbs, housebroken, and doing great with crate training.
He is sweet, playful, and enjoys being around his humans. He would do better with a dog companion as well and loves the larger dogs in house currently.
He was neutered and given his rabies shot on 05/18. No official records of shots, but the previous owner says he was up to date.
While he has been kind to every dog he has met (big and small), the previous owner said he killed small animals and showed an uncomfortable amount of interest in cats, so would be best in a home without small animals.
He can clear a standard fence, but so far hasn't tried to escape his current yard. The previous owner had an underground fence that Max would ride the border of until the battery died.
