Thumper came to SSR as a puppy with his siblings and mom. They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.  He was adopted in May of 2020 and was returned in November due to very high energy and injuring a neighbor's dog.  He is located in Columbia, MD.

Here's a little bit that the foster has learned in the few days he's been with her:

Pros:

1. He’s house trained
2. Crate trained
3. Can be very lovable when he wants to be 
4. Not a big barker
5. Does good in the car
6. Doesn’t seem to chew on anything but his toys
7. Smart and very trainable with experienced foster or adopter
8. Good on a leash and out for walks
9. Loves to nap and cuddle 

Cons:

1. Plays a little rough, mainly with smaller dogs and he doesn't realize his size
2. Jumps high and nips (working on and already much better)
3. No cats! High prey drive
4. No small children unless they are dog savvy. He's a big puppy and may knock them over by accident while running around
5. Would most likely do well as an only dog or with a dog his size or bigger. 

Not Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Does Good in the Car, Leashtrained, Cratetrained, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Intelligent, Goofy, Not good with small dogs
