Sweet Belle has had quite an ordeal!! Found cowering and half starved under some shrubs in a Costo parking lot, when Animal Control scanned her, they found a chip!! But the owners stated they'd "rehomed her before" and didn't care that poor Belle was out on the street. Now she is with her temporary foster in TX. She has learned that head scratches are nice (dare we say "required"?). She also discovered that the dog bed is better than the floor, and being outside in the backyard is not bad, so long as someone is there to let her back in the house. Dog biscuits are.. okay. But cheese? Yes please!!!
Belle is heart worm positive, but will be treated at SSR's expense. She should arrive to the Virginia area in early May.
