Look at his happy smile! Fergus is a young, happy boy who loves other dogs and people. We tried to tag him from the shelter in Kingsville, TX but at the last moment, he was adopted! And we were happy for him, but sad for us! But then his family brought him back after only a few weeks because he chased their cats. He loves people, and is good with kids. He's house trained, loves car rides and scratches. He knows commands like sit, shake and fetch. We can't wait to get to know him better!! He arrived to his Virginia foster on April 25th. Foster Update: Fergus has done very well adjusting in his new foster home. He enjoys playing with other dogs but until he's comfortable with them he's usually not the one to initiate playtime. There are cats outside next door and he really likes running up and down the fence line trying to get them so he will definitely need a home without cats. Fergus absolutely loves food and gets very excited (jumping included- we're working on that) about eating his meals. Plus he tries to be in the kitchen when his foster mom is cooking human food. Fergus is borderline HW+ but does very well taking his medication as long as it's in some peanut butter. He does okay walking on a leash but does pull a little bit so he needs someone who is willing to put in a some effort with leash training. Fergus is very easy-going and would make a great companion for someone.
