If you are looking for a sweet baby that wants to be by your side, look no further than Queenie! This girl follows me throughout the house and if I somehow go out of her field of vision, she starts to cry as she looks for me. Her favorite spot to rest is at my feet, under my desk.
She is crated in the evenings for now, and she is getting better with it. The first night we had her she wrecked the crate but we reinforced it, and since then she has been unable to get out of it. The second night she did not cry as much and settled in a good bit more. She will calm down if you scold her, a firm "nuh uh" works very well (you may have to say it a few times).
She walks fantastically on a leash if you keep her by your side, if you give her a loose leash she will pull, or if your dog "gets ahead" she will pull. She is a bit scared of things outside, but if you have a calm dog, she looks to them for guidance. She calmed down quickly when she could walk besides Euna, and was more curious of what was going on outside with the kids running around.
She gets along fantastically with our dog Euna, as well as the cats in the house. She gives the cats a wide berth. She tends to follow Euna about and the two of them play together gently. It is so cute to watch!
We are working on her jumping on you (though she is very gentle about it) and on things. A firm "nuh uh" will get her off immediately from the counter (for example). She loves to jump on you though and try to give kisses, but that is not a good habit to have (even if it is cute with her).
She seems pretty well potty trained! We have had no accidents thus far. She seems to know sit, but only when you have a treat in hand. We will work on some other tricks and things once she is a little more settled in.
Overall she is a fantastic puppy! She still has that puppy energy and loves to bounce around the yard a bit. She is super sweet and will quickly come and bury her head against you and roll over to show her belly if you are sitting on the floor or on the couch. She will definitely make a fantastic pup for someone!
