Mason arrived late Sunday March 22nd to Virginia with his companion Macy (1304). They are a bonded pair and will be adopted together. Mason is a lover, he wants to be by your side getting loved or in your lap getting belly scratches almost all the time. He also gives great kisses. He does like to go run in the yard and like to play with Macy when he isn't getting one on one love. He does have a more dominant personality making him the alpha of the two. He is protective of Macy and is often watching out for her. When around larger calm dogs he is fine but ones of his size he seems to try to show and remind them of who is in charge. For this reason I will ask that all dogs meet as even after many meet ups, if Macy is involved it is always about who is alpha for him. Mason can jump a 4’ fence but seems to do it for fun and then hangs around the yard trying to get back in to Macy. He is crate trained though he does not like to go into the crate. Once in he is fine until he sees you coming and then he tries to get out of the crate on his own. I think he would prefer to be out and free and always by your side if it was up to him. Just be ready to have a shadow and snuggler if you are lucky enough to adopt Mason Mason was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas, along with his companion Macy.
