Biscotti was surrendered by his owner in Texas along with his mom, Gingersnap, and siblings Samoa and Churro. They will come to the Virginia area in March/April.
Update- Biscotti is here! So far this super sweet guy is fitting in well with his foster sister, Isabel (SSR 1317) and his foster brother, Finn (my pup). He tries hard to keep up with the big dog and is not intimidated by them at all. He takes breaks from running, wrestling , and sharing sticks to check in with foster mom and find any toys in the yard that surely must all be played with. He does still need puppy power naps and enjoys cuddling up with his foster mom for these. He has had two accidents in the house during the day but none at night in his kenne. He has settled into his kennel for a good nights sleep with only a little fussing the first night and none the second or third. Kennel time during the day had a bit more of a fuss but he stopped barking after a few minutes and took a nap. So far he chases, growls, and barks at the cats so I would be cautious about adopting him with cats that aren't dog savvy. He loves to eat and seems to be food motivated, but doesn't inhale his food and so far hasn't shown any resource guarding. He does try to steal the other dogs chewies and can be somewhat aggressive about this. He does some play chewing on hands but, hey, he is a puppy. We are working on that and he responds well when told NO. He got to meet my friends daughter and did great with her.
