Jenna was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas and appears to have had a really rough start in life. She was most likely struck by a car a year or so ago, because she has several old breaks and injuries that have now completely healed and cannot be corrected with surgery at this time. Her joints look great, so there is no evidence of hip dysplasia; however, one leg is a centimeter shorter than the other, which causes her to limp when she gets too much activity or overexerts herself. Poor sweet Jena also has a bone spur in her right elbow, and a broken left toe that was never set so it healed out of place.
Jenna loves to run and play but she hasn't figured out how to bring the ball back in our games of fetch. She also enjoys nightly cuddles on the couch and having toys to chew on. She is a true “Velcro dog” who wants to be wherever you are and loves to give kisses.
Jenna has not been cat-tested yet but she is good with other dogs and children (although too much activity is not good for her, you will quickly be able to learn her limits and adjust)
A quiet home with slow walks, plenty of kisses and lots of car rides is Jenna’s dream home. Could it be yours?
